AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- With the 2020-21 school year set to begin Tuesday, Austin ISD officials say they'll be expanding the availability of mobile wi-fi hotspots on district buses.
The district says classes will begin with 100% online learning Tuesday through October 5. The district's wi-fi enabled bus fleet will now be available from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The buses are being strategically positioned at apartments and in neighborhoods where they'll have the biggest impact for students. The district has an online map with the latest details of where buses are being deployed.
