Travis County: 152 new cases and 4 new deaths were reported Friday by Austin Public Health, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 23,870 with 332 deaths. An estimated 22,481 cases have recovered, leaving 1,057 active cases - a decrease of 78 from Thursday.
236 patients are hospitalized across the five county metro area, a decrease of 27 from Thursday - with 89 in intensive care and 60 on ventilators.
22 new hospital admissions were reported Friday, with the 7-day moving average of new hospitalizations steady at 33.
Williamson County: 182 new cases and 3 new deaths were reported Friday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 7,330 with 102 deaths. 1,434 cases are estimated to be active - an increase of 83 from Thursday. 73 patients are hospitalized - a decrease of 2 from Thursday - with 31 in intensive care and 14 on ventilators.
Hays County: 8 new cases and 3 new deaths were reported Friday, pushing the total number of confirmed cases to 5,111 with 41 deaths. 2,421 cases have recovered, leaving 2,649 active cases - a decrease of 24 from Thursday. 16 patients are hospitalized, a decrease of 2 from Thursday.
Bastrop County: 12 new cases were reported Friday by DSHS, bringing the total number of cases to 1,421 with 23 deaths.
Caldwell County: No new cases or deaths were reported Friday by DSHS. Caldwell County has a total of 1,171 cases with 29 deaths.
State of Texas: 7,018 new cases were reported Friday across the state, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 520,593. 313 new deaths were reported, for a total of 9,602. The 7-day positivity rate is at 16.06%. 6,632 Texans are hospitalized across the state, a decrease of 247 from Thursday.
