Travis County: 154 new cases and 5 new deaths were reported Monday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 25,890 with 362 deaths. 24,672 of the cases are estimated to be recovered, leaving 856 active cases, a decrease of 23 from Sunday.
171 patients are hospitalized across the five county metro area, with 58 in intensive care and 39 on ventilators.
15 new hospital admissions were reported Monday, with the 7-day moving average down to 21.
Williamson County: In its first update since Friday, Williamson County officials reported a total of 60 new cases Monday - 20 for Saturday, 28 for Sunday, and 12 for Monday. That brings the total number of cases to 7,747 with 113 deaths - an increase of 1 since Friday. 372 cases are estimated to be active, while 76 patients are hospitalized - an increase of 5 since Friday. 26 patients are in intensive care and 15 are on ventilators.
Hays County: A total of 47 new cases were reported Monday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 5,297 with 45 deaths. 2,829 cases have recovered, leaving 2,423 active cases - a decrease of 2 from Friday's report. 18 patients remain hospitalized.
Bastrop County: 5 new cases were reported by DSHS on Monday, for a total of 1,536 cases with 25 deaths.
Caldwell County: No new cases were reported by DSHS on Monday, leaving a total of 1,210 cases with 31 deaths.
State of Texas: 2,754 new cases were reported Monday, along with 93 backlogged cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 580,384. 25 new deaths were reported, for a total of 11,395 across the state. 5,019 Texans are hospitalized across the state.
