Travis County: 127 new cases and 4 new deaths were reported Tuesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 26,017 with 366 deaths. 24,833 of the cases are estimated to be recovered, leaving 818 active cases, a decrease of 38 from Monday.
171 patients are hospitalized across the five county metro area, with 59 in intensive care and 40 on ventilators.
22 new hospital admissions were reported Tuesday, with the 7-day moving average now at 21.
Williamson County: 42 new cases were reported Tuesday, for a total of 7,789 confirmed cases with 113 deaths. As of Monday, 372 cases were active, with 76 patients hospitalized.
Hays County: 11 new cases were reported Tuesday, pushing the total number of confirmed cases to 5,308 with 45 deaths. 2,870 cases have recovered, leaving 2,393 active cases - a decrease of 30 from Monday. 17 patients are hospitalized, a decrease of 1 from Monday.
Bastrop County: 6 new cases were reported by DSHS on Tuesday, for a total of 1,542 cases with 25 deaths.
Caldwell County: 7 new cases and 1 new death were reported by DSHS on Tuesday, for a total of 1,217 cases with 32 deaths.
State of Texas: 6,091 new cases were reported Tuesday, along with 255 backlogged cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases statewide to 586,730. 181 new deaths were reported, for a total of 11,576 across the state. Hospitalizations have dropped below the 5,000 mark, with 4,907 Texans hospitalized across the state.
