AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Here are the latest coronavirus updates from local health officials across Central Texas, for July 13:
Travis County: 657 new cases were reported Monday, bringing the total number of cases in Travis County to 15,445. 3 new deaths were reported, bringing the Travis County total to 172. An estimated 11,862 cases have recovered, leaving 3,411 active cases - an increase of 60 from Sunday's report.
A total of 459 patients are hospitalized across the five county metro area, an increase of 25 from Sunday's report. 151 patients are in intensive care, with 86 on ventilators.
68 new admissions were reported Monday, with the 7-day moving average of new hospitalizations now at 69.4.
Williamson County: 232 new cases were reported Monday, pushing Williamson County above the 4,000 confirmed cases mark to 4,042. Two new deaths were also reported on Monday, bringing the total to 56. 106 patients are hospitalized in Williamson County - an increase of 10 from Sunday's report - with 33 in intensive care and 17 on ventilators.
Hays County: 88 new cases were reported Monday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 3,643. Recoveries are up to 693, leaving 2,939 active cases and 11 deaths. 20 patients are hospitalized in just Hays County - a decrease of 2 from Sunday's report.
Bastrop County: 40 new cases were reported Monday, pushing the total number of confirmed cases to 690. 3 new deaths were also reported on Monday, bringing the county total to 11, with 160 recoveries.
Caldwell County: 15 new cases were reported Monday according to DSHS, for a total of 667.
State of Texas: 5,655 new cases were reported on Monday, pushing the statewide total to 264,313 confirmed cases. 43 new deaths across the state brings the fatality total to 3,235. Hospitalizations dipped slightly, decreasing by 5 to 10,405 across the state.
