Travis County: 572 new cases were reported Wednesday by Austin Public Health, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 16,570. 4 new deaths were reported, bringing the total to 183. An estimated 12,871 cases have recovered, leaving 3,516 active cases - an increase of 79 from Tuesday's report.
492 patients are hospitalized across the five county metro area, an increase of 23 from Tuesday. 159 patients are in intensive care, with 97 on ventilators.
78 new hospital admissions were reported on Wednesday, with the 7-day moving average of new hospitalizations now at 71.1.
Williamson County: 174 new cases were reported Wednesday, pushing the total number of confirmed cases to 4,327. 5 new deaths were reported, for a total of 61. 3,153 of the cases are estimated to be recovered, leaving 1,113 active cases - an increase of 95 from Tuesday. There are 107 COVID-19 patients in Williamson County hospitals - an increase of 9 from Tuesday - with 32 in intensive care and 18 on ventilators.
Hays County: 70 new cases were reported Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,769. 1 new death was also reported, bringing the total to 14. 37 new recoveries brings the recovered case count to 781, leaving 2,974 active cases - an increase of 32 from Tuesday. 22 patients are hospitalized in Hays County - a decrease of 1 from Tuesday.
Bastrop County: 57 new cases were reported Wednesday, pushing the total number of confirmed cases to 806. 1 new death brings the total number of deaths to 12.
Caldwell County: 39 new cases were reported by DSHS on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 749.
State of Texas: 10,791 new cases were reported Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 282,365. DSHS says the data has been adjusted to remove 3,484 "probable" cases reported by Bexar County, who was including antigen testing results in with confirmed cases. 110 new deaths were reported Wednesday, bringing the total to 3,432. Hospitalizations across the state dropped slightly to 10,471, a decrease of 98 from Tuesday's report.
