AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Here are the latest coronavirus updates from local health officials across Central Texas, for July 19:

Travis County: 192 new cases and no new deaths were reported Sunday by Austin Public Health, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 17,646. An estimated 14,059 cases have recovered with 203 deaths, leaving 3,384 active cases - a decrease of 5 from Saturday.


480 patients are hospitalized across the five county metro area - an increase of 14 from Saturday. 158 patients are in intensive care, with 110 on ventilators.

63 new admissions were reported Sunday, with the 7-day moving average of new hospitalizations now at 69.4.

Williamson County: 106 new cases were reported Sunday with 2 new deaths, bringing the total number of cases to 4,792 with 72 deaths. An estimated 3,661 cases have recovered, leaving 1,059 active cases - an increase of 19 from Saturday. 105 patients are hospitalized in just Williamson County - an increase of 6 from Saturday - with 37 in intensive care and 20 on ventilators.

Hays County: Hays County announced earlier this week they would stop reporting new case data on the weekends, due to changes in how labs are reporting data to the county. "With the few cases we receive directly from health care providers, we believe releasing weekend numbers would make our positive cases look artificially low," Hays County Epidemiologist Eric Schneider said in a statement.

As of Friday, Hays County reported 3,865 cases with 17 deaths, 830 recoveries, and 3,018 active cases. 20 patients were hospitalized.

Bastrop County: No new data was reported Sunday, leaving Bastrop County at 888 cases, 160 recoveries, and 12 deaths.

Caldwell County: DSHS reported 15 new cases Sunday, bringing the Caldwell County total to 835 cases.

State of Texas: 7,300 new cases were reported statewide Sunday, pushing the total number of cases to 325,030. 93 new deaths were reported, for a total of 3,958. Statewide hospitalizations dropped slightly Sunday, with a total of 10,592 patients hospitalized across the state - a decrease of 66 from Saturday's report.
