Travis County: 145 new cases and 6 new deaths were reported Monday by Austin Public Health, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 17,791 with 209 deaths. An estimated 14,526 cases have recovered, leaving 3,056 active cases - a decrease of 328 from Sunday.
480 patients are hospitalized across the five county metro area - no change from Sunday - with 158 patients in intensive care and 108 on ventilators.
43 new admissions were reported Monday, with the 7-day moving average of new hospitalizations dropping to 65.8 - its lowest point since July 1.
Williamson County: 96 new cases were reported Monday along with 2 new deaths, bringing the total number of cases to 4,888 with 74 deaths. An estimated 3,767 cases have recovered, leaving 1,047 active cases - a decrease of 12 from Sunday. 98 patients are hospitalized across WilCo - a decrease of 7 from Sunday - with 39 in intensive care and 18 on ventilators.
Hays County: In its first update since Friday, officials reported 114 new cases for a total of 3,979 confirmed cases. 882 cases have recovered with 17 deaths, leaving 3,080 active cases - an increase of 62 from Friday. 23 patients are hospitalized - an increase of 3 from Friday.
Bastrop County: DSHS is reporting 1,034 confirmed cases for Bastrop County, an increase of 146 from the last county update on Friday. 436 cases are estimated to be recovered, with 12 deaths, leaving 586 active cases.
Caldwell County: DSHS reported 841 cases in Caldwell County on Monday, an increase of 6 from Sunday. 382 cases are estimated to be recovered with 7 deaths, leaving 452 active cases.
State of Texas: 7,404 new cases were reported Monday across the state, bringing the total number of cases to 332,434. 62 new deaths were reported Monday, pushing the state over the 4,000 mark to 4,020 fatalities. Hospitalizations are down slightly for a second straight day, with 10,569 patients hospitalized statewide - a decrease of 23 from Sunday.
