AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Here are the latest coronavirus updates from local health officials across Central Texas, for June 26:

Travis County: A planned database upgrade is keeping Austin Public Health from providing any new updates for Friday. Officials say the next update will be provided Saturday. Travis County has 7,097 cases, with 1,905 active and 116 deaths. According to Austin Mayor Steve Adler, 299 patients are hospitalized across the five county area - an increase of 6 from Thursday - with 114 in intensive care and 48 on ventilators. As of Thursday, the 7-day moving average of new hospitalizations was at 44.6.


Williamson County: Three new deaths were reported Friday, pushing the total to 35. 68 new cases brings the total number of confirmed cases to 1,770; 937 of those are active, with 777 recoveries. WilCo reported a significant jump in hospitalizations Friday, with a total of 61 patients hospitalized. That's an increase of 38 from Thursday, with 20 patients in intensive care and 8 on a ventilator.

Hays County: Another 140 new cases were reported Friday, pushing the total number of cases to 2,415. 1,992 of those are active, leaving 418 recoveries with 5 fatalities. Hays County is reporting 20 COVID-19 patients hospitalized, a decrease of 3 from Thursday.

Bastrop County: 19 new cases Friday brings the total number of confirmed cases to 410. 137 cases have recovered, with 6 deaths leaving 267 active cases.

Caldwell County: DSHS data shows 11 new cases in Caldwell County, now at 297 cases.

State of Texas: 5,707 new cases were reported Friday across the state, for a total of 137,624 cases. 28 new deaths were also reported, for a total of 2,324 fatalities. Hospitalizations across the state crossed the 5,000 mark Friday, with another 363 patients added for a statewide total of 5,102.
