AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- No new COVID-19 deaths were reported across the Austin metro Saturday, as the coronavirus pandemic continues to see new confirmed cases.

Travis County: 46 new confirmed cases were reported Saturday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 3,232. 1,152 of those are recovered, an increase of 18 from Friday. The 7-day moving average of new hospitalizations rose slightly to 9, up from 8.6 on Friday evening. 79 patients remain hospitalized across the five country metro area.


Williamson County: 7 new confirmed cases were reported Saturday, pushing the total number of confirmed cases to 612. 383 cases are considered to be recovered, an increase of 4 from Friday. 9 patients are currently hospitalized in Williamson County, with 5 in intensive care and 4 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed has crossed the 10,000 mark, with 10,284 tests conducted through Friday for a positivity rate of 6%.

Hays County: No dashboard update was made available Saturday for Hays County, leaving confirmed cases at 329.

Bastrop County: 4 new confirmed cases were added Saturday, bringing Bastrop County's total number of confirmed cases to 204. Recoveries remain at 85.

State of Texas: The latest statewide update shows 62,338 confirmed cases, an increase of 1,332 from Friday. 22 new fatalities were reported, pushing the total number of deaths statewide to 1,648. An estimated 41,651 of the cases are considered to be recovered.
