AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Austin Police are investigating a shooting on the city's east side that left one man dead Saturday night.
Police were called to the 5700 block of Manor Road around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. When officers arrived, they found one man in a parking lot with a gunshot wound.
The man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died, police said.
Despite a heavy police response and the use of the department's Air 1 helicopter, no suspect is in custody.
