
AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) - It's Election Day, for four runoff contests from the November 3 general election.
Polls are open until 7 p.m. tonight. As of noon, the Travis County Clerk's office said over 3,000 ballots had been cast in-person. More than 22,000 ballots were cast during early voting, along with more than 19,300 mail-in ballots.
Two Austin City Council seats are on the ballot, including the District 6 race between incumbent Jimmy Flannigan and challenger Mackenzie Kelly, and the District 10 race between incumbent Alison Alter and challenger Jennifer Virden.
Two Austin ISD school board seats are also before voters. Lynn Boswell and Jennifer Littlefield are vying for the seat to represent District 5, which covers much of central Austin west of Interstate 35, while Noelita Lugo and Leticia Caballero are vying for an at-large seat.
