AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- After months of delay due to the coronavirus, Election Day is here for the primary runoffs as well as a special election to fill a vacant state Senate seat.
During early voting, 81,522 voters cast their ballots in Travis County, with another 16,441 mail-in ballots returned. In total, that represents about 11.8% of the county's registered voters.
Polls are open today from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some usual voting locations have changed. Grocery stores, for example, are not being used as polling locations this time around in Travis County.
