AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- The largest grocery store chain in Austin, H-E-B, says it is temporarily limiting purchases of meat to customers to ensure availability.
As of May 2, customers are limited to a total of five packages combined of fresh beef, ground beef, chicken, pork, and turkey at H-E-B stores across Central Texas.
The chain says limiting product purchases is "a proven way to ensure the best service and product availability for all customers."
