HAYS COUNTY (Talk1370.com) -- Two new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Hays County, bringing the county's total to 24 cases.
County officials say 18 of those cases remain active, while 6 have recovered. Three people are currently hospitalized. As far as testing, some 210 tests have returned negative.
San Marcos leads the county with 10 positive cases, with 6 in Kyle, 5 in Buda, 1 in Dripping Springs, and 2 in areas of Austin inside Hays County.
Nearly all of Hays County's cases are between 30 and 59 years old in age; 3 are 20-29 years old and 2 are 60-69 years old. Only 5 of the cases were related to travel, officials said.
