HAYS COUNTY (Talk1370.com) -- Health officials in Hays County say they've confirmed 16 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the county's total to 77 positive cases as of Wednesday afternoon.
23 of those cases have recovered, according to data provided by Hays County.
The majority of Hays County's cases are in the 50-59 age bracket, with 24. Kyle and San Marcos continue to be the county hotspots, with 31 and 23 cases respectively.
