HAYS COUNTY (Talk1370.com) -- Hays County officials on Monday confirmed the county's second positive case of COVID-19.
County Epidemiologist Eric Schneider says the adult Hays County resident was tested at a clinic and is under self-quarantine at home until they are without fever for 48 hours without using fever-reducing medication.
County officials announced their first case on Saturday, a day before the county and individual jurisdictions declared local disasters in order to help with the response to the outbreak.
