AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Storms moving across Central Texas Tuesday morning spawned several confirmed tornadoes, along with heavy rains across much of the Interstate 35 corridor.
Two tornadoes were spotted, the first around Dale in Caldwell County and another near Smithville in Bastrop County. No injuries were reported.
Many areas saw 2-4 inches of rain, with parts of Kyle seeing upwards of 5 inches of rain.
Scattered showers will continue Wednesday, with a heavier rain threat approaching this weekend. Another 3-5 inches of rain could fall Saturday and Sunday, with a chance for strong to severe storms possible.
