(Talk1370.com) -- Retail chain Kohl's will re-open its stores in Texas and nine other states beginning on Monday.
"We are pleased to begin welcoming our customers back to Kohl’s," said Michelle Gass, Kohl’s chief executive officer.
The chain re-opened a number of stores last week, and is continuing to open stores in phases.
According to the company, it's taking a number of steps to ensure a safe shopping experience for customers, including reduced operating hours and dedicated shopping hours for at-risk individuals, signage and floor decals to promote social distancing, and increased sanitization practices.
The company will continue to offer limited contact drive-up services for online purchases and ship-to-store orders.
Kohl's operates 7 stores across the Austin area.
