PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (Talk1370.com) -- Pflugerville city officials say they'll be closing Lake Pflugerville Park in the wake of Gov. Greg Abbott's latest orders to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The trail, and parking on the south and west sides will remain open.
The north parking lot, open spaces, playscape, Pflug Fun kayak rentals, boat ramp, fishing piers, pavilion and beach are all closed. Fishing and boat access will not be allowed from the bank.
When using the trail, officials remind everyone to continue to practice social distancing and properly dispose of all trash.
Portable restrooms and hand sanitizing stations will continue to be available.
At other Pflugerville parks, outside basketball and volleyball courts will be closed, as well as 1849 Park. Gilleland Creek Pool will remain open by reservation only.
