AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Officials are investigating a suspicious death on the east side after a body was discovered Monday morning.
Travis County Sheriff's officials responded to a call Monday from construction workers reporting the body, which was found in a ditch near Decker Lane and Daffan Lane.
TCSO says the victim is a Hispanic male in his 20s. The victim's body indicates that he did not die of natural causes; there is no evidence of a penetrating wound, such as a gunshot or a stab wound.
Officials say it's also not clear how the victim's body came to where it was found. Until a cause of death can be ascertained, investigators will treat the case as a homicide.
