AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- One person is dead and two others are injured following a crash on the city's northeast side Tuesday afternoon.
First responders were called to U.S. 183 near Rutherford Lane just after 12:15 p.m. Tuesday. Police say a sedan and a box truck were involved in the crash.
EMS says a total of three patients were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center. Two patients were transported to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries, one of whom later died at the hospital. A third patient was also transported with minor injuries.
