AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- One person is dead after a vehicle reportedly caught fire in southeast Austin Friday night.
Austin-Travis County EMS was called to the scene of U.S. 183 and Burleson Road just after 10 p.m. Friday, with reports of a vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
According to the Austin Police Association, the driver lost control, left the roadway, and struck a utility pole. EMS says one person was pronounced deceased on the scene.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
