AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- One person is dead and another sustained serious injuries in a southeast Austin crash early Sunday morning.
First responders were called to the 5200 block of FM 973 at Pearce Lane just after 5 a.m. Sunday.
Austin-Travis County EMS says one person was pinned inside one of the vehicles; that person, who Austin Police later identified as a 45-year old male, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Another patient was transported to St. David's South Austin with potentially serious injures.
