AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- One person is dead and another was injured following an overnight shooting in east Austin early Sunday morning.
Police were called to the 1100 block of East 11th Street just after 2 a.m. Sunday, on a report of gunshots coming from a disturbance connected to a large social gathering at a nearby club.
When officers arrived, they found two victims with gunshot wounds. One was pronounced deceased on the scene; the other was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
