AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Police are investigating after a woman was hit and killed in east Austin Friday night.
First responders were called to the intersection of East 12th Street and Airport Boulevard just after 8:30 p.m. Friday. Austin-Travis County EMS says its medics pronounced a woman deceased at the scene.
Austin Police say it appears the woman was crossing Airport when she was struck.
One vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police; they are looking for another vehicle that may also have been involved. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Austin Police.
