AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- A man is dead after a stabbing in north Austin early Thursday morning.
Austin Police and other first responders were called to the 7200 block of Duval Street near East St. Johns Avenue, just west of Interstate 35 around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, at the St. Johns Square Apartments.
When officers arrived, they found the victim - a "younger in age" Hispanic male - unresponsive and not breathing inside an apartment.
Police say a person of interest remained on the scene; that person was taken into custody for questioning.
