AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Austin Police are investigating a suspicious death in southeast Austin Monday afternoon.
Police responded to the 2400 block of Wickersham Lane, near East Oltorf Street and South Pleasant Valley Road on a shoot/stab hotshot call. When officers arrived, they found one male victim with injuries who was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
APD's Air 1 helicopter was called in around 3:15 p.m. to assist with the search for a suspect. So far, police say no one is in custody and there is no ongoing threat.
