AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- One person is dead and another was seriously injured after a rollover crash in northwest Austin early Wednesday morning.
First responders were called to the scene along Spicewood Springs Road near St. Edward's Park around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday.
According to crews, a single vehicle hit a tree and ended up rolling over on the opposite side of the road. One patient was thrown from the vehicle, while the other was ejected and pinned underneath it.
Austin-Travis County EMS says one patient was transported to St. David's Round Rock with serious injuries; the second patient was pronounced deceased on the scene.
