AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Target is closing some of its stores across the country temporarily in the wake of ongoing protests and vandalism, including three locations in the Austin area.

The Austin area stores that are temporarily closed are:
  • Saltillo on East 5th Street
  • UT Campus on Guadalupe
  • Austin North on Research (183 & Ohlen)

The company says the closures are hoped to be temporary, and its affected employees will be paid for up to 14 days, and will also be able to work at other nearby Target locations.
