Texas A&M-Alabama set for 2:30 kick on CBS on October 3

COLLEGE STATION (Talk1370.com) -- The annual showdown between Texas A&M and Alabama will take center stage on CBS on October 3, the Southeastern Conference announced Tuesday morning.

In addition to the A&M-Alabama announcement, the season opener against Vanderbilt on September 26 has also been set for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff.


Here are the announced games and times so far:

  • September 26: Vanderbilt at Texas A&M, 6:30 p.m. (SEC Network Alternate)
  • October 3: Texas A&M at Alabama, 2:30 p.m. (CBS)
  • October 31: Arkansas at Texas A&M, 6:30 p.m. (SEC Network)
  • November 7: Texas A&M at South Carolina, 6:30 p.m. (ESPN or SEC Network)

For Texas A&M at Mississippi State on October 17, the game will air at 11 a.m., 2:30 p.m., or 3 p.m. on either the SEC Network, SEC Network Alternate or another ESPN platform.

Other games set to be featured on CBS throughout the season:

  • September 26: Mississippi State at LSU
  • October 17: Georgia at Alabama
  • October 31: LSU at Auburn
  • November 7: Florida vs. Georgia
  • November 14: Alabama at LSU

Kickoff times for the remaining games on the Aggies' schedule will be set as the season progresses, based on television network decisions.
