AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Texas House Speaker Dennis Bonnen and his wife have tested positive for COVID-19, according to a Facebook post Sunday.
Bonnen (R-Angleton) said his wife Kim tested positive last week, while he tested positive over the weekend.
"2020 just keeps on giving!," Bonnen wrote in a Facebook post. "This disease is no joke in its unpredictability and severity, so please continue to keep your guard up and your loved ones protected. Mask up and social distance, avoid large gatherings, and take care of one another."
Bonnen says his symptoms have been mild so far, and that his two sons, Jackson and Gregory, are also being tested while the family quarantines. "This disease is no joke in its unpredictability and severity, so please continue to keep your guard up and your loved ones protected," Bonnen said.
