AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Another Travis County resident has died due to COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths as of Wednesday evening to 82.
Austin Public Health says 49 new cases were confirmed Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 2,644.
925 of the cases are considered to be recovered, an increase of 10 from Tuesday's update.
89 patients are hospitalized across the five county area, with 38 in intensive care and 22 on ventilators.
