AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Travis County officials say the latest count of COVID-19 cases in the area is now at 86.
It's an increase of 7 new cases since Sunday night's update of 79.
The update comes as Austin and Travis County officials consider enacting some form of a shelter-in-place order to help combat the ongoing spread of the virus, following the likes of Bexar and Dallas Counties, and the cities of Waco and San Antonio - who have all enacted some form of order since Sunday evening.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
