Tropical Storm Hanna likely to bring rainfall to south Texas

AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- All eyes will be on the Gulf of Mexico this weekend, as Tropical Storm Hanna likely to make landfall somewhere along the Texas coast.

Tropical Storm Hanna, currently churning in the Gulf off the Texas coast, is expected to make landfall along the lower to middle Texas coast sometime Saturday - possibly as a weak category 1 hurricane.

Hurricane Warnings, and Tropical Storm Warnings are in effect for much of the Texas coast.

With the storm track continuing to shift towards the south, rainfall amounts in the Austin area will be limited to an inch of rain or less. The heavier amounts will be in far south Texas, which could see up to 6 inches of rain.
