TRAVIS COUNTY (Talk1370.com) -- Two children are dead after a fatal crash in eastern Travis County late Friday night.
Austin-Travis County EMS says the crash happened just after 10:45 p.m. Friday in the westbound lanes of the 3800 block of State Highway 71, at State Highway 130. STAR Flight also responded to the scene.
Medics were performing CPR on the two children, but they were eventually pronounced deceased on the scene. Two adults were transported to St. David's South Austin with serious injuries, and two other patients refused treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
