AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Local health officials say two additional deaths have been reported as a result of COVID-19.
Thursday's update from Austin Public Health brings the death count for Travis County to 74. 57 new confirmed cases were also reported, bringing the total number of cases to 2,345.
826 of those cases are now considered recovered, an increase of 44 from Wednesday's update.
Across the five county metro area, 93 patients are hospitalized. 35 of those are in intensive care with 19 on ventilators.
