GEORGETOWN, Texas (Talk1370.com) -- 19 years ago Sunday morning, Rachel Cooke disappeared while on a morning jog near her parents' house in Georgetown. Now, Williamson County officials are seeking the public's help on identifying and finding a person of interest in the long-running cold case.

Since Cooke disappeared, detectives from the Williamson County Sheriff's Office along with multiple assisting agencies have been pouring through more than 2,000 tips and investigating multiple individuals who were suspected to have been involved with her disappearance.

Now, WCSO officials say they need the public's help in identifying a new person of interest in the case. According to the sheriff's office, the subject was living in the Georgetown area in 2002, has traveled to multiple cities throughout Texas, and was known to be an associate of Cooke while she was in the Georgetown area. The subject is also known to be involved in the cattle/horse industry.

Investigators believe they may have mentioned to an acquaintance details pertaining to Cooke's disappearance, likely speaking of the incident in third person and distancing himself from any actual involvement.

Up to $100,000 in rewards is being offered for information leading to Cooke's location. Anyone with information on the case, or the person of interest, is asked to call 512-948-2911, or the WCSO Cold Case Tip Line at 512-943-5204.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously online at tips.fbi.gov or emailing coldcasetips@wilco.org.
