AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Authorities are investigating after a woman's body was found in the middle of a highway on the city's north side early Thursday morning.
First responders were called to the 9000 block of Research Boulevard, near Burnet Road, just after 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
According to Austin Police, several 911 callers reported seeing a woman's body lying on the highway.
Police say it's not yet clear how the body got there. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
