
BASTROP, Texas (Talk1370.com) -- A wildfire that forced a number of evacuations on Saturday in Bastrop County is 95% contained, according to officials.
The Texas A&M Forest Service says the Cassel Way Fire has scorched about 37 acres. That's down from an earlier estimate of 100 acres, after crews were able to map the fire.
Officials say the fire began when a cooking fire got out of control.
All of the evacuations were lifted Sunday afternoon, officials said. Roughly 15 structures were threatened, but a Facebook post from Bastrop County ESD 2 officials said none were lost. A total of 24 were evacuated.
