
AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick will officially begin their third terms in office Tuesday, with inaugural festivities set throughout the day across the city.
Abbott and Patrick will take the oaths in a ceremony set to get underway at 11 a.m. on the north steps of the Capitol.
Following the administration of the oaths of office and an inaugural address from Abbott, the usual "Taste Of Texas" luncheon will be held on the south grounds of the Capitol, beginning just after noon.
A sold-out inaugural celebration is also slated for 6 p.m. Tuesday evening at ACL Live at the Moody Theater.
Inaugural festivities actually got underway Monday night, with a celebratory fireworks show - one that also honored the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
