Austin City Limits Music Festival has partnered with REVERB's Music Decarbonization Project making the IHG ® Hotels & Resorts stage solely and completely powered on a hybrid battery system, including all audio, lighting, video and stage production. Also the giant shade tents at ACL Eats and several of the backstage areas will also be powered on hybrid battery systems. This will minimize the run time of biodiesel generators creating big fuel and emissions savings! A proven sustainable success on the main stage during Lollapalooza earlier this year! The same is expected during ACL Fest!
ACL Festival commits to sustainable practices to preserve the beauty of Zilker Park on the field,and behind the scenes. Another addition is working with the Food for All Project to donate any unused backstage meals to feed people in need.

Austin Parks Foundation also present ACL Fest’s signature greening programs during both weekends of ACL Fest. APF and its volunteers will manage Rock & Recycle, Divert It! and Water Refill Stations.
