People reported hearing that explosion as far away as Leander and Georgetown. That individual then returned to the Drag, where they continued to threaten and physically assault students. UT says it has invested millions of dollars into safety improvements across campus over the past few years; interim UT president Jim Davis said he has spoken with both Travis County Judge Andy Brown and Austin Mayor Kirk Watson.
