14-year old last seen in Buda found after AMBER Alert; suspect arrested

UPDATE: Austin Police say Hillary Salcedo has been safely located by members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force. Hector Avila has been taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.

AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- An AMBER Alert has been issued for a 14-year old girl who was last seen in Buda last weekend.

According to the Austin Police Department, Hillary Salcedo was last seen in the 700 block of Rolling Hills in Buda on Saturday, Jan. 15. She's described as Hispanic, standing about 5’ 4″ tall, weighing 105 pounds with red/auburn hair and black eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket and red shirt.

Police are searching for 28-year old Hector Avila as the suspect in Salcedo's disappearance. He’s described as Hispanic, standing about 4’9″ tall, weighing about 130 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He's said to have multiple tattoos on his shoulder, officials said.
