AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Austin Police say a three-year old girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert Thursday morning has been safely located.
Officials had said 3-year old McKenzie Byrne and her father, who police earlier identified as 37-year old Brian Byrne, were last seen around 12:30 a.m. Thursday morning near Payton Gin and Research Boulevard.
APD officials said in a tweet that the girl was found safe around 12:15 p.m., and a suspect was in custody.
No further details on the incident have been released.
