AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- More than 700 nonprofits across Central Texas are set to get a boost during Amplify Austin Day.

The annual day of giving event, organized by I Live Here I Give Here, is back for its 10th run - beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday night until 6 p.m. Thursday.

This year, organizers are looking to grow the giving by reaching more donors - aiming for a goal of 50,000 donors.

Since its inception in 2013, Amplify Austin has raised $82 million dollars from 500,000 gifts - some as little as five dollars. Last year, the effort raised more than $12.5 million for 684 nonprofits across seven Central Texas counties.

Amplify LIVE will be back this year, a 24-hour livestream featuring stories from the local nonprofit community, along with Central Texans who inspire generosity, celebrity guests and businesses. The broadcast will be available online at AmplifyATX.org, as well as on Austin Public Television's channel 10.

Donations can be made online at AmplifyATX.org.
