Temperatures around much of the Austin metro were in the lower 20s around 11 a.m. Sunday morning, with Camp Mabry reporting 23 degrees.

There were isolated reports of freezing drizzle across Central Texas early Sunday, prompting the National Weather Service to move up the Winter Weather Advisory that includes all of the Austin metro. It now goes into effect at noon on Sunday and will continue until at least noon on Monday.

The NWS forecast continues to call for ice accumulations of up to a tenth of an inch, with impacts mainly limited to bridges, overpasses, and elevated surfaces. Precipitation is expected to come to an end by Monday morning.

ERCOT, the state's electric grid operator, is now operating under a Weather Watch through Wednesday. Officials continue to say the grid is expected to operate normally through the winter blast.
