Area H-E-B stores to close early Thursday due to winter weather

AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Austin's largest grocery store operator says its area locations will close early Thursday evening as the Austin metro continues to face the impacts of winter weather.

H-E-B says all of its Austin and Round Rock stores, as well as Georgetown 1 & 2, Lakeway, Bastrop, Buda, Dripping Springs, Kyle, La Grange, Lockhart, Luling, San Marcos 1 & 2, Wimberley, Burnet, Elgin, Hutto, Kingsland, Lampasas, Leander (Plus & 2), Marble Falls, Pflugerville 2, and Taylor, will all close at 5 p.m. Thursday evening.

The stores will re-open at 8 a.m. on Friday morning.

Central Market locations in the Austin area will close at 8 p.m. Thursday evening.

H-E-B officials say they are working to restock any products that are out-of-stock, with shelves being restocked throughout the day.
