AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Austin Police say they've arrested a man in connection with an explosion in a parking garage at St. David's Medical Center Wednesday evening.
First responders were called to the scene just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Parking Garage 1 at St. David's on East 32nd Street.
Thursday, APD officials said officers had arrested 38-year old Raymond Luke Garner in connection with the incident, on a third-degree felony charge of components of explosives.
In a statement Thursday, St. David's Medical Center CEO Todd Steward said the hospital was no longer on diversion status and that typical visiting hours had resumed.
"The safety of our patients, families and employees is our number one priority, and we are grateful for the swift efforts of our first responders," Steward said.
No injuries were reported during the incident, and no damage to the hospital was found.
