AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- An Austin holiday tradition will return to its regular format this year - as the annual Trail of Lights in Zilker Park will return to a walking trail.
This year's event - the 58th annual edition - will run from Dec. 8 through Dec. 23.
“Starting as a small community gathering around a yule log in 1965, the Austin Trail of Lights now welcomes more than 400,000 guests from Central Texas and around the world each year for its jubilant display of lights and nightly entertainment,” organizers said in a press release.
For the past two years, during the COVID-19 pandemic, officials switched to a drive-thru format.
